{"id":134,"date":"2019-03-26T22:08:12","date_gmt":"2019-03-26T22:08:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mikewinters.io\/?p=134"},"modified":"2021-07-26T17:34:48","modified_gmt":"2021-07-26T17:34:48","slug":"__trashed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mikewinters.io\/?p=134","title":{"rendered":"Live Multimedia Production"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>When I joined the <a href=\"https:\/\/gtcmt.gatech.edu\/\">Georgia Tech Center for Music Technology (GTCMT)<\/a>, I was excited to help grow their program. The opportunity presented itself through the <a href=\"https:\/\/guthman.gatech.edu\/\">Guthman New Musical Instrument Competition<\/a>, a renowned concert featuring new musical instruments. With the encouragement and support of Frank Clark, Chris Moore &amp; Jason Freeman, I brought my <a href=\"https:\/\/mikewinters.io\/?p=143\">previous experience in concert livestreaming<\/a> to Georgia Tech. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over several years, I helped initiate a program of live multimedia production. As a teacher of graduate and undergraduates, I created an active learning environment that fostered students problem solving abilities and multimedia aesthetic. Our key broadcast was the annual <a href=\"https:\/\/guthman.gatech.edu\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\">Guthman Musical Instrument Competition<\/a>. I supervised production teams as they mixed live concert footage that we simultaneously broadcast to the web.
